Apart from that, you might also want to hop over to tolkienawards , a community for discussion and planning of a new all-encompassing Tolkien fanfic award program, which zhie  has set up! \o/ Volunteers and suggestions are always welcome!


And yesterday was also the International Day of Slash, which I was dragged into and where I at least managed to write 4 ficlets, though both zhie  and lalaith_raina  wrote ten times as much. /o\ You can find all our responses to the challenge here: International Day of Slash 2012


And not only was there IDoS, I also got wonderful news yesterday in a mail from Turbine, where the event CoA proposed was officially accepted by Turbine for their Summer Fun events in LOTRO, which means we'll get official advertising and prizes from Turbine. :D

THIS is going to be amazing. Ell will prance around in his favourite purple dress with the flowers stitched onto it, wearing his flowers in his hair and holding his giant (non-magical) flower in his hand while handing out prizes to people who try to be just as beautiful as him but will invariably fail. Oh, life is so hard when you are as beautiful as Ell. ;_;
