All these wonderful recs even made me read fic in a fandom I'm not even in, but then, that is the joy of AUs. The Revolution Will Not Be Civilzed - Interception fandom, but I don't think you need to know the movie to enjoy this. Of course, it might not be your kink, but I was enjoying this far too much.
The discussion also made me reread an old favorite in the HP fandom: An Eye For An Eye. Yay threesomes. <3
There was lots of wonderful LOTROing yesterday, but I'll be happy if I never have to see the Pits of Iron ever again. But to make up for the hours spent in a cave, there was relaxing at the server's Saturday Night Social afterward, where there was music and dancing and drink. And a fashion intervention for Gwyndir beforehand, so we all looked stunning. :D

I was going to comment on that about hate-sex, but I found I was too shy XD. I am not good at posting on journals where I don't know any-one. I'll have to read it, as when I first read the post, there were no comments. I am hoping for a great influx of fic, too.

Strange, isn't it? because if any-one ever asked me to name a fantasy 'world' exploding with possibilities for kink, I would always say Middle-earth first.
I'm sure the Hobbit movies will give us a lot of hot Thranduil/Galion dungeon BDSM fic.

Sometimes I wonder if it's because most people left Tolkien behind for other fandoms, and the ones who stayed are comprised to an abnormally large quantity of more conservative folks, as Tolkien's writings themselves are rather conservative in nature...
I hope those dungeons will get lots of screentime. I have high hopes for them. :D
